At Automotive Passion, we have engineered a lightweight, high-performance dry carbon fibre hood vent replacement specifically for the Honda Civic Type R FL5, direct replacement for the plastic factory insert, all original mounting point and clip locations re-used.
Our objective was to enhance the bonnet lines with striking premium carbon fibre material.
Each insert is manufactured from Pre-Preg Dry Carbon Fibre and finished in a Glasurit UV-resistant clear coat and UV. Available in Gloss Twill or Matte Twill Carbon finish options to match your build’s theme.
Install:
Hood vent is a direct OEM-style replacement part, not an overlay cover. Fitment is plug and play, once the OEM Factory vent has been removed from the vehicle, transfer over the plastic backing frame onto the back of the AP Hood vent as originally fitted on the original part.
Factory reflectors are to be re-used and slot into the new carbon trims as with the OEM factory part.
